The Challenge
Refit a private hostel inside a historic Saint Petersburg building — preserving the raw authenticity of the shell while making it comfortable, safe and photogenic for guests.
The Concept
Exposed brick, original parquet and traditional joinery are set against layered textiles, graphic chevron tiling and warm ambient lighting — a design that honours the building's memory.
The Result
An 80 sqm hostel that reads as a small design hotel — a strong sense of place that guests return to and recommend.
